13TH BI-ANNUAL MATED EWE SALE
Stud principal David Pipkorn described the result as a pleasing outcome given the widespread seasonal challenges.
“In very difficult seasonal conditions across the region we were really pleased with the support received,” he said.
The sale topped at $2,700, with 15 ewes attracting spirited competition to sell between $1,000 and $2,000.

12TH BI-ANNUAL MATED EWE SALE

DETPA Grove White Suffolks, Jeparit, has had another successful sale for its 12th bi-annual mated ewe sale, with stud co-principal David Pipkorn declaring he’s “very satisfied with the result”.
Detpa Grove offered more than 100 ewes, with all animals sold going to studs.

11TH BI-ANNUAL MATED EWE SALE
Australia’s record price for a White Suffolk ewe was smashed at this week’s Detpa Grove White Suffolk 11th Bi-Annual Mated Ewe Sale.
The new high price of $6500 easily eclipses the $5100 set last year at the Ramsay Park ewe dispersal in South Australia.
Detpa Grove stud principal David Pipkorn said the ewe was a unique blend of genetics and exceptionally good in lean meat yield.

10TH BI-ANNUAL MATED EWE SALE
Genetics from leading Nhill White Suffolk stud Detpa Grove are continuing to influence the sheep meat industry, with new studs buying breeding ewes at the property’s ewe sale.
Stud principal David Pipkorn said he was fairly pleased with the outcome of the tenth bi-annual mated ewe sale, given the conditions. “There was a larger crowd than previous sales, and bidders were active on Auctions Plus,” Mr Pipkorn said.

9TH BI-ANNUAL MATED EWE SALE
Another outstanding quality line‐up of 83 PTIL White Suffolk ewes was penned for buyer competition at the Pipkorn family’s 9th Bi‐annual ewe sale last Tuesday (11th April) at Jeparit.
The quality on offer was duly recognised by 20 registered buyers in the sale shed, plus further competition on Auctions Plus, especially on the top end.
Overall 68 ewes went to new homes in four states, plus the USA and selling to a new Detpa Grove ewe record price of $3600, which was achieved twice.

8TH BI-ANNUAL MATED EWE SALE
The Pipkorn family, Detpa Grove White Suffolks at Jeparit received strong support from far and wide at their eighth Bi-Annual Mated Ewe Sale on Tuesday 28th April. 75 ewes sold to buyers from five states and the USA and averaged $575.
Undoubtedly the highlight was the demand for the first four lots of elite ewes, selected from the heart of the Detpa Grove breeding flock in a ‘pick of the pair’ format.
Each lot contained two ewes that have been used, or have been selected to go into the Detpa Grove elite ET program as donor females.

6TH BI-ANNUAL MATED EWE SALE
The result of the 6th Bi-Annual Mated White Suffolk Ewe Sale had everyone checking the record books for “On-Property” Ewe sale results.
Although the top price of $2,800 (twice) was only $200 above previous Detpa Grove ewe record it was the average of $1,173 for the 100 Ewes offered & sold which had everyone talking.
This sale average was almost double that of the drought affected 2009 sale and $500 higher than the Detpa Grove previous best in result
2007.
